Access the account console (E2)

The account console is where you administer your Databricks account-level configurations, including workspace creation, delegated AWS access credentials, AWS storage configurations, and optional customer-managed VPCs. It also provides chart and table views of your organization’s Databricks usage and spending across all workspaces.

To access the account console, you must be the account owner or an account administrator. The account owner is the person who initially created the Databricks account. The account owner can add additional account administrators. To transfer account owner rights, contact your Databricks account representative.

Note

This article describes the account console for accounts on the E2 version of the platform, which is different than the legacy account console for other versions of the platform. Both are accessed the same way, but what you can do is different. All new Databricks accounts and most existing accounts are now E2. If you are unsure which account type you have, contact your Databricks representative.

To access the account console when you are viewing a workspace, click the user profile Account Icon icon at the top right and select Manage Account.

You can also go directly to https://accounts.cloud.databricks.com.

Enter your account owner or account admin email address and password to log in. How you get your initial account owner login ID and password depends on the way you signed up for Databricks. In most cases, you will receive a Welcome email. Follow the link in the email to verify your email address and create a password. When you’ve entered your new password, you can open the account console.
