Troubleshoot the PayPal connector
Beta
This feature is in Beta. To use it, a workspace admin must turn on Lakeflow Connect for PayPal from the Previews page. See Manage Databricks previews.
This page describes common errors you might encounter with the managed PayPal connector and how to resolve them.
For general troubleshooting guidance that applies to all managed ingestion pipelines, see Troubleshoot managed ingestion pipelines.
Pipeline fails to authenticate
Cause: PayPal rejected the connection's credentials or denied access to a table. This happens for one of the following reasons: the Client ID or Client Secret isn't valid, the Environment doesn't match the app's credentials, or the app doesn't have a feature that a table requires.
Solution:
- Verify that the Client ID, Client Secret, and Environment in the Unity Catalog connection match your PayPal REST API app. See Create a PayPal connection.
- Confirm that the app has the features that each ingested table requires. See Required PayPal app features.
For setup details, see Configure authentication to PayPal.
