Data Classification now scans Unity Catalog views (Beta)

Data Classification can now scan Unity Catalog views in addition to tables, classifying columns for sensitive data using the same detection engine. This is a Beta feature. See Classify views.

Databricks Data Classification is now in Public Preview and supports all catalog types, consolidates all classification results into a single system table, and a new UI to review and auto-tag classifications. See Data Classification.
Data classification system table Beta

A new system table, system.data_classification.results, is now available in Beta. This table captures detections of sensitive data at the column level across all enabled catalogs in your metastore.
