Bootstrap de cluster Ray
Quando você envia uma carga de trabalho, o command é executado em cada nó simultaneamente. Para usar o Ray em vários nós, o script de bootstrap usa NODE_RANK para decidir a função de cada nó. 0 inicia o head do Ray, e todo o resto faz join como um worker.
Cada exemplo nesta página usa um ray_bootstrap.sh compartilhado para lidar com essa configuração. Você só precisa de uma cópia deste arquivo junto com os scripts de exemplo que estiver executando.

Cada exemplo YAML invoca o bootstrap definindo RAY_ENTRYPOINT e chamando ray_bootstrap.sh:

LOCAL_WORLD_SIZE é definido pelo AI Runtime como o número de GPUs em cada nó, portanto, GPUS_PER_NODE é dimensionado automaticamente com o tipo de GPU que você solicitar. MASTER_ADDR é definido pelo AI Runtime como o endereço IP do nó principal, que os workers usam para localizar e join no cluster Ray.
Ray Core
O exemplo mostra como programar o trabalho em todas as GPUs no cluster usando @ray.remote(num_gpus=1), o que instrui o Ray a colocar cada tarefa em uma GPU separada. Cada tarefa relata em qual nó e GPU física ela foi alocada, confirmando que as tarefas foram distribuídas entre os nós em vez de empilhadas em um só.
YAML de Workload
ray_core.yaml solicita 2 nós com 1 GPU A10 cada (GPU_1xA10), totalizando 2 GPUs no cluster:

Script
ray_core.py despacha uma tarefa por GPU. Como o Ray define CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES como a única GPU atribuída dentro de cada tarefa, current_device() sempre retorna 0. O script usa ray.get_gpu_ids() e CUDA_VISIBLE_DEVICES para relatar a atribuição física real:

Ray Train
O exemplo treina um pequeno MLP em dados sintéticos. prepare_model move o modelo para a GPU do worker e o encapsula em DDP. prepare_data_loader adiciona um DistributedSampler para que cada worker veja um fragmento diferente dos dados, e ray.train.report apresenta métricas por época de volta ao driver.
YAML de Workload
ray_train.yaml solicita 2 nós com 1 GPU A10 cada. ray[train] instala os extras do Ray Train:

Script de treinamento
ray_train.py define um loop de treinamento por worker e configura TorchTrainer para usar todas as GPUs no cluster:

Ray Data
O exemplo cria um pipeline sintético: um map por linha adiciona recursos derivados, um filter mantém apenas linhas com números pares e um map_batches aplica uma transformação NumPy vetorizada. Chamar count() e sum() ao final aciona a execução.
YAML de Workload
ray_data.yaml solicita 2 nós. Clusters heterogêneos de CPU/GPU ainda não são suportados no Ray Data no AI Runtime, portanto, este exemplo mantém o pipeline em CPUs. O tipo de nó GPU_1xA10 determina o tamanho do cluster:

Ray Tune
O exemplo executa 8 testes, 4 por vez em 4 GPUs. Cada teste treina um pequeno MLP em dados sintéticos com uma combinação amostrada de taxa de aprendizado, tamanho oculto e tamanho de lote.

air logs transmite do nó 0 por default, que é onde o driver Ray é executado. Para visualizar logs de um nó de worker, passe --node 1, --node 2 e assim por diante.
