ip_network_first function

Applies to: check marked yes Databricks Runtime 18.2 and above

Returns the network portion of an IPv4 or IPv6 CIDR block in its canonical form.

This function is an alias for ip_network function.

Syntax​

ip_network_first ( cidr )

Arguments​

  • cidr: A STRING or BINARY value representing a valid IPv4 or IPv6 CIDR block.

Returns​

The same type as the input (STRING or BINARY), representing the canonical form of the network address.

The function returns NULL if the input is NULL.
