dayofmonth function

Returns the day of month of the date or timestamp. This function is a synonym for extract(DAY FROM expr).

note

When extracting fields from a TIMESTAMP (TIMESTAMP_LTZ), the result is based on the session timezone.

Syntax

dayofmonth(expr)

Arguments

• expr: A DATE, TIMESTAMP, or TIMESTAMP_NTZ expression.

Returns

An INTEGER.
