This requires explaining new concepts and showing how to use the new feature. Typically documentation splits these, either into different sections on the page, or different pages in a doc set. We refer to these as "conceptual" and "procedural" docs.
If the concepts are related to existing concepts, add the new concepts to the existing documentation along with those.
