Publish data from SAP Databricks to SAP BDC

After you have built a data product in SAP Databricks, you can publish it back to SAP BDC using the pre-configured Delta Sharing connection. Each workspace in SAP Databricks comes pre-populated with a Delta Sharing recipient called sap-business-data-cloud that allows you to share data from SAP Databricks to your SAP BDC account.

Create a share​

To publish your data product to BDC:

  1. Create a share using Catalog Explorer, SQL, or the CLI.
  2. Add data to the share.
  3. Click Share data.

Enrich your data with Semantic Metadata​​

To allow the discovery of your shared data in SAP Business Data Cloud, you must use SAP Business Data Cloud's SDK to describe your data using CSN and ORD.
