DESCRIBE QUERY (Databricks SQL)

Returns the metadata of output of a query.

Syntax

{ DESC | DESCRIBE } [ QUERY ] input_statement

Parameters

  • QUERY

    This clause is optional and may be omitted.

  • query

    The query to be described.
